The 'Black Pearl' is a very beautiful plant, and makes a lovely edible houseplant in the cooler months. In the summer it can be grown outside, bringing in for the winter. Bushy, upright, and well-branched plants have foliage that is greenish when young and quickly matures to glossy black with light and warmth. Rounded, pearl-like, shiny black fruit matures to dark red. Very Hot Chillies!!

Re-pot as necessary, water only when compost looks dry. Keep plant warm enough with good light indoors. Put outside if required only when last frosts of spring have passed/ outdoor temperature is 20C and over.
